Client data base screen shot 7 — Clients can be found individually or batched with keywords on the 'Search' page. A space and return in the search bar will give a full list of the main information of each client stored on the database.

Client data base screen shot 8 — Charts store a wide range of specific details for marketing and financial purposes. The charts use the data stored from the forms calculating a variety of visual aids.

Client data base screen shot 11 — The 'Map' page takes the longitude and latitude coordinates in the database and places it on to a Google map with some main information to that specific client.

Client data base screen shot 12 — The calendar also uses the database to place the required job date into the Google calendar and some relevant information of that specific client. I added a weather app at the bottom of this page to plan outdoor photoshoots.

What's next on my agenda?

I have found a new tool for coding and it’s called React. If you would like to know more about REACT yourself the link is in the name. However, this is my next ‘Must learn’ and hopefully strengthen my future in building for the worldwide web. It’s a popular and current technology that will hopefully be another door to success in my coding journey.

WHAT IS JAVASCRIPT?

JavaScript (or JS) is a scripting language used to create and control dynamic web content. Dynamic web content includes things like animated graphics, photo slideshows, and interactive forms. Anytime you visit a website where things move, refresh, or otherwise change on your screen without requiring you to manually reload a web page, there’s a very good chance JS is the language making it happen.

WHY USE REACT?

Before ReactJS came alive, developers used jQuery or vanilla Javascript to create the UI (user interface). Every developer has his or her way of coding in a vanilla programming language, which may bring lots of bugs and troubles for new people in the team. Using a library like ReactJS may help to organize the development and bring even more advantages with features that make ReactJS such a popular and widely used library.

This ambitious society sought to make a difference in the world of corporate law. They entrusted me to create their brand and website, amplifying their message and impact.

A great new start-up for this lovely couple who are looking into a bright future in the wedding industry. I was asked to help brand and build a new front for the business on-line.

Fairy and strawberries was a request from the young model, Jasmine. We brain stormed for ideas and enjoyed a great photo shoot on a summers day. Effects added in Adobe photoshop later and was eventually printed as a poster.

Photoshoot for a young man starting his model career. We spent a good few hours learning and creating a variety of headshots and poses. Some I used later like this Smoking Jacket version was created for my own portfolio.

Mel was a great model as she loved to lay up to the camera. We played with the styles from fashion to fantasy. A great day with some great images for her modelling portfolio and my own. Mystical Dreaming proudly occupies her wall.

A decade ago I had the great opportunity to use and discover Maya, a professional animation software used in the film industry. In this short week I had, I created a short film with a Pixar character in mind. I still proud of it to this day.

This video was taken from a great day out with the family at Heatherton world of activities in Wales. I edited the video in Adobe After Effects and made a Mario Karts parody. Don't watch if you suffer from motion sickness.

It's important we preserve the past and photographs help us to do that. I have been offering a digital photo repair and restoration service ever since I discovered Adobe software and it's ability to salvage and protect our memories for decades to come.

This is a project I spent a few weeks building but decades thinking about it. It's not going to fly us to the moon and back but I am very proud to achieve this in such a short time of learning to code from scratch.

The picture slide above has a examples of the pages I built with full interaction on the real thing. I have obviously hidden any information which would break security and trust but the functionality is exactly how I planned.
